The earlier a puppy is introduced to grooming, the more confident and happy they’ll feel as they grow. Our Puppy Intro Pack offers a gentle, three-session experience designed to build trust and help your puppy enjoy the salon as a fun and welcoming place.
Session One – A gentle first step
Your puppy will explore the salon, meet the team and get used to all the new tools, sounds, and smells. We’ll introduce them to the grooming table and let them experience the feel of clippers, brushes, and dryers in a calm and playful setting, with plenty of cuddles and treats.
Session Two – A soft introduction to grooming
During this visit, your puppy will enjoy their first bath and fluff dry. Table training continues alongside a gentle introduction to grooming. Everything is done at your puppy’s pace to keep each visit positive and enjoyable.
Session Three – The big day
Now comfortable with the salon and our team, your puppy is ready for their first full groom of your choice. We take the time needed to ensure the experience remains relaxed and enjoyable, helping them develop a positive, lifelong association with grooming.
Poodle, Maltese, French Bulldog
Border Terries, Irish Terriers, Show Cocker Spaniel
The listed prices represent starting rates for small, medium, and large dogs, with breed examples for size reference. Final pricing may vary based on coat condition and temperament, which influence the appointment duration and overall cost.
Puppies can begin once they have completed their full course of vaccinations, usually around 8 weeks old, and up to 5 months of age. This helps ensure they’re healthy and ready to enjoy their new experiences.
The first two sessions are 2 hours each. The final session may be longer depending on the breed, as a full groom can often take more than 2 hours, especially for hand-stripping breeds.
The first two sessions are booked one week apart, with the full groom scheduled two weeks after the second session.
We do our best to organise small groups of up to four puppies to go through the process together. This allows them to learn from each other and, most importantly, enjoy plenty of playful puppy interactions. Group sessions depend on receiving multiple requests around the same time and owners being available on matching days and times.
After the last session, we will review how the full groom went in terms of behaviour and note any feedback you provide about their new look. We will also discuss a grooming schedule tailored to your puppy’s breed, coat type, and lifestyle, and answer any questions you have about maintaining their coat at home.
We just need a few details to get the ball rolling! Every dog is unique, and this helps us tailor their grooming experience and book an appointment that fits your schedule.
