Clipping a coat that’s naturally designed for hand stripping multiple times over time alters its texture and growth pattern. This makes the transition back to hand stripping more challenging and often uncomfortable for the dog. Because your dog’s comfort is always our top priority, we don’t offer hand stripping for dogs whose coats have been clipped multiple times. Instead, we’ll assess your dog’s coat condition and create a personalised grooming plan that ensures their comfort.
Neutering can often alter coat texture, making it softer and more challenging to strip. However, it doesn’t automatically rule it out. Some neutered dogs can still be hand stripped successfully, especially with regular maintenance. We’ll assess the coat condition and talk through the best approach for your dog.

We only remove the dead hair that is naturally ready to shed, which allows for healthy regrowth of your dog’s coat.
